Shapes of Madrid

Not a mere decorative urban skyline, but an interactive way to make your own Shape of Madrid, this item from BeaMalevich is perfect for detail lovers.

Play with with the 6 standing methacrylate silhouettes featuring the most iconic constructions in Madrid, fitting them on a 5-lane wood base and creating endless perspectives.

From nearest to farthest, oldest to newest, most known to to-discover, what architectural order are you going to pursue? Images of Cuatro Torres, Torres KIO and Torre Picasso, displaying the Business side of Madrid at the one end of Paseo de la Castellana, can morph tastily with the Palacio Real, Catedral de Almudena and Torrespaña figures and give a modern-classic view of Spain’s capital city. The Gran Vía and Plaza de España silhouettes represent the most central and metropolitan Madrid areas, bursting with life in the form of people, lights and the remarkable presence of the fashion, entertainment and fooding industries. This is why we also added a Parque del Retiro perspective too – Madrid’s park, with a lake, trees and terraces, where Madrid people can relax after a busy day -, and the close and well known Spanish architecture examples of the Puerta de Alcalá, Torres Blancas, and Ayuntamiento de Madrid – or, as some may know, the old Edificio de Correos, right in the Plaza Cibeles.

The possibilities of the game are as wide as the user wants. You can trace the silhouettes on a piece of paper and create a 2-D landscape that you can later paint, decorate, or customize with tons of possibilities. You can also change the landscape every now and then, putting buildings together on the same line, or twisting them 180º to have a mirrored image of the view you normally have. Precise cut methacrylate makes the outlines fully recognisable and resistant.
